America, we are at a crossroads in our great nation like never before as we enter these final days leading to the most consequential presidential election in memory, or possibly ever in our history.

We have an urgent decision to make in a matter of days as to who will lead our country going forward through the disaster of COVID19, which was launched around the world by China, causing a pandemic. So far, it has taken the lives of over 200,000 Americans, collapsing our economy, while disrupting lives and destroying businesses.

Will we re-elect President Donald J. Trump who, in three and a half years, restored an economy to the point where it was booming prior to the novel corona virus crashing on our shores? We can never lose sight of the fact that President Trump led the United States to an economy that boasted the lowest unemployment rates within every demographic on record. Given the chance upon re-election, he will use his expertise to help us recover again, even as we emerge from the lowest points since the beginning of this pandemic.

President Trump has committed to protect our Constitution and freedoms, improve our military and support our law enforcement community while raising American prosperity. He has made good on most of his promises and he is just getting warmed up. He faces an opponent in Joe Biden who, in forty-seven years of elected office, has done nothing to benefit America.

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris lead a coalition that will destroy growth and prosperity, as well as eliminate our freedoms because of reckless socialist influences which forged their harmful agenda. Along with the help of all the left leaning media outlets, they will further destroy the First Amendment by creating what will amount to a state-run media like Russia, China and North Korea.

Not only will 1A be in danger but so will our Second Amendment. Biden has already enlisted Beto O’Rourke to lead the anti-gun charge which will ultimately pose a serious threat to 2A. It troubles me greatly that a fellow Texan is on a mission to take our God given right to defend and protect ourselves.

It is all about control just as Nazi Germany confiscated the guns of their innocent citizens rendering them helpless against tyranny. We are in jeopardy of experiencing a similar plight if we do not wake up.

We must never lose sight of the fact that blood and treasure was sacrificed in order to secure our liberty and freedom, which were endowed upon us by our Creator from British tyranny and control.

It is incumbent upon us to take responsibility to build a fortress of protection around our freedoms, especially religion which is currently under a major threat by the Left as well. We can never allow the elites to take God out of the equation to suit their depravity, lest we fall.

Take a moment and envision yourself as a spectator in Philadelphia Pennsylvania in 1787 where our Founding Fathers labored and debated during the Constitutional Convention. 39 of the 42 delegates present approve and sign the Constitution creating the framework of a Republic which was designed to serve “We the People”, allowing self-governance and no longer serving tyrannical oppression.

One day after Benjamin Franklin emerged from the convention, he was approached by a local woman who asked, “Dr. Franklin what have you given us today?”

He replied by saying, “Madam, we have given you a republic; my hope is that you can keep it.” Given where we are now, with Dr. Franklin understanding human behavior directed by impulse, he made a very prophetic declaration.

We are currently on the brink of losing our Republic, allowing Ben Franklin’s greatest fear to come to fruition, if we do not re-elect President Trump to a second term, handing over our country to Biden/Harris

What was birthed 244 years ago was an idea that never before existed in the history of mankind. We were handed the gift of the America. It is our responsibility to not only protect her, but to pass it on to the next generations. It is imperative that we prevent the Democrats from taking control of what they refer to not as a republic, but as a democracy. We can never allow them to dismantle it by taxing us into submission and controlling our lives by stealing our freedoms.

If we do not heed the words of Ben Franklin, then Biden, Harris, Pelosi, Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio Cortez will sell out America by hoarding power and stifling our voices. They will pack the Supreme Court and give statehood to the District of Columbia, which the Founders deliberately did not want. They will also grant statehood to Puerto Rico so that they could perennially maintain a majority in the U.S. Senate. These actions will create a one-party government, driven by socialist ideology. They are a dangerous lot who will cripple our economy and neuter our military, leaving us exposed to our enemies by severely weakening national security.

The Democrats are enamored with terms like “existential threat”. The unvarnished truth is that they are the real existential threat to our Republic. The political Left wants to erase the freedoms for which so many have given their lives. Those patriots fought and died for a place to exercise the inalienable rights endowed upon us by our Creator, that we may enjoy Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness without interference from government.

Let us not ignore the warning by Ben Franklin and make sure that we protect this immeasurable gift and respond to the clarion call to never surrender. We must never become complacent but remain alert and vigilant.

We owe it to each other, and we owe it especially to those who gave all for our Republic.
