The Ending of Pretending?

July 2, 2021

It is July 2nd. Independence Day is just two wakeups away. July 4th is a day to celebrate the founding of our country, as well as the freedoms it guarantees for us. However, those freedoms are under constant assault, and not just from the government, but from society itself. It may be just about time to start fighting back for those freedoms again. The fight may begin with just not pretending anymore.

Let me explain that previous sentence by elaborating on one issue-the transgender debate. I do not care who someone loves. I do not care with whom someone has sex. That is your choice. I do believe in science which tells me someone born with a penis is a male. If he gets it surgically removed, has breast implants and takes female hormones, he is still a male, just one with breasts and without a penis.

The same holds true for a human born with a vagina. That human is a female. No matter if she has breast reduction/removal and takes many male hormones, she will still be a female, just with a moustache or beard.

I will not pretend that those people are the sex that they fantasize they have become. I will not play along any more than if I knew someone who thought they were a kangaroo or a car. Society and the media may ridicule or attack me, but I will stand by my convictions. I wish more people would do the same.

That is not the only area in which I will not be pretending.

I will not pretend that any skin color is more important than any other.

I will not pretend that riots are “peaceful protests”.

I will not pretend that my guns are “weapons of war”. They are not merely a means to defend myself and my family. It can one day become a “weapon of war” if my government attempts to eliminate my Constitutional rights.

I will not pretend that China is our country’s ally.

I will not pretend that socialism or communism are good for our society.

I will not pretend that any political party that supports China or socialism is acting in the best interest of our country.

I will not pretend that career politicians who have become multi-millionaires are somehow free of misconduct.

I will not pretend that the media is unbiased when their talking points align perfectly with one party.

I will not pretend that our government is fiscally responsible in any way.

I will not pretend that adding debt with no plans to pay for it is not an attack on my children’s future.

I will not pretend that people who make their livings off government checks and benefits are productive members of society.

I will not pretend that Democrat run cities are somehow good for the country.

I will not pretend that voter fraud is non-existent or unstoppable.

I will not pretend the 2020 election was not rigged with illegal and fraudulent ballots.

I will not pretend that a man campaigning from his basement, with zero enthusiasm from the public for him, who gained little votes in previous presidential campaigns, somehow garnered more votes than any candidate in history.

I will not pretend that criminals killed while resisting arrest are martyrs or heroes.

I will not pretend that police are evil.

I will not pretend that our Founding Fathers were bad men.

I will not pretend that America is evil.

I will not pretend that your support of any of these made-up ideals that I have just argued against is somehow okay and merely a political difference.

These ideals and ideas are meant to destroy our country, and therefore our freedom.

I am done pretending.

Will you join me?
