Conservatives have an inherent flaw. We tend to underestimate our political rivals. It may be that we feel our ideas are far more logical, so therefore, more intelligent. We see liberals as either hippies, bleeding hearts or troublemakers. Although we do see them as relentless, we have failed to see

them as strategic in that resolution. This is a huge mistake, especially when they keep winning engagements with our elected representatives.

As a political class, Republicans have ignored or mocked the small, subtle changes that the left kept pushing, successfully or not, on our country. Like erosion, those continuous minute modifications have reshaped the political landscape greatly over a long period of time.

The left has been building the foundation for their current efforts since the ’60s.,,,
